How long should my hair be?
About a quarter inch, roughly the length of a grain of rice. For most people, that's approximately two to three weeks after shaving. And no, you generally don't need to trim beforehand.
What should I avoid after waxing?
Hot showers, sweating at the gym, tanning, tight clothes, give it 24 hours before any of that. Freshly waxed skin needs a break.
Does a Brazilian wax hurt?
I'm not going to tell you it's completely painless. There are a few uncomfortable moments, especially during your first visit. But I'll explain the process, check in with you, and help make it as manageable as possible.
What if I'm nervous or embarrassed?
Tell me! We can talk through the appointment before getting started. Remember, there's nothing about normal bodies or hair growth that you need to apologize for.
How often should I come back?
Most Brazilian waxing clients return every four to six weeks. Your ideal schedule depends on how quickly your hair grows and your personal preferences.
Can I get waxed on my period?
Yes. Fresh tampon or menstrual cup, and you're good.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
